The Personal Care Programme is active in developing international links on a number of fronts. This is done in partnership with UKTI and Yorkshire Forward.
Examples include:-
Co-ordinated meetings with a number of Yorkshire & the Humber companies for a Canadian Technology Transfer Mission. This has led to a number of significant projects and business opportunities. The links with the IRAP network in Canada are now well established as is the relationship with the Canadian High Commission.
Visit to Singapore on behalf of several PCP companies. This has led to a number of business opportunities and strong links with the British High Commission in Singapore.
We have exhibited at in-cosmetics each year since 2008, including in-cosmetics 2010 in Paris. in-cosmetics Paris attracted over 7000 visitors and is the most popular event of its kind in Europe with an increasingly global attendance.
International opportunities are regularly flagged to PCP companies with business relationships developed in markets such as New Zealand, Europe and the Middle East.
Innovative international developments are regularly identified with an increasing dialogue with some of the region's multi-nationals leading to Material Transfer agreements and ongoing development.
